 First of all, I do sincerely hope you and your family are well and that the period of lock-down has at least,  been an opportunity to take  life at a slower pace and embrace some of the simpler things. It has  certainly been a time to reflect on everything that really matters and the people we most care about! If you have managed to get through this period healthily, you will probably be eager by now to get back to some normality and I’m sure those of you that can, will be  taking advantage of the outdoors whenever possible for walks and exercise or just to get out in the air more since the government allowed this small, but welcome relaxation of the social distancing rules.

It is clear however, that it will be some time before the ‘new normal’  begins in all earnest and for us at Bliss, it will not be  before the 4th July that we can re-open the salon but I am busy planning  ways in which we will be able to resume offering you all the treatments you normally enjoy with us in an even safer, hygienically stricter way. We will follow the guidelines set to us by governing bodies so that you can still come and enjoy relaxing, pampering or simply essential services in the confidence that you are in a safe environment.😷🧹🛁

Nearer the time, I will write again to confirm the reopening date and to advise you of the changes you will find when attending your appointments, such as longer intervals between appointments to accommodate fuller sanitation between clients, less bookings per day to reduce number of clients booked at the same time and the use of appropriate protective equipment by staff and clients alike.

In the meantime , I would be really grateful if you would kindly indicate how you feel about returning to us for treatments once all of these things are in place and we are allowed to reopen, so that I can gauge the levels of staff we will need to be there for you when we do!

For some of you, if you are caring for, living with or are indeed a person who is currently shielding due to underlying health conditions, we would encourage you to continue to limit your exposure to public places until a vaccination has been developed for all, but we may be able to offer  peak and off-peak appointment times to accommodate the more vulnerable clients going forward if this is of interest?

Finally, I am also working on developing an online shop for our retail products to facilitate online purchasing if more convenient but in the meantime, I can send  out parcels safely to you on request so if there is anything you need , do not hesitate to get in touch by email to order any Dermalogica, Guinot, Sienna X or Orly products ( Nailtiques are still out of stock)

If you are concerned about your skin or nails and not sure what you need send me a photo and I will be happy advise.😊


They will be honoured whenever presented so do not worry about a validity period during the closed period.

You will be asked to pay in full upon booking, this is a new initiative we will trial to  manage the salon appointments more  efficiently and reduce the need for unnecessary contact  .

If we need to change your appointment we will honour the payment against your next appointment, if you need to cancel it you will have 24 hours to do so and we can either reimburse you or the payment will  be used against your rescheduled appointment .
